About Simbiti Safaris

‘Simbiti’ [Ironwood]

Our adventure travel journey began in 2022 when two close friends, Andries Kotze and Dylan Cloete, explored a remote region in the far southeast of Zimbabwe. They discovered an opportunity to bring safari clients to a less traveled wilderness known as the Mateke Hills, perfect for nature safaris.

Together, they partnered with landowners and local communities to acquire a concession that would be protected and restored through proceeds of sustainable trophy hunting, including Dangerous Game. Simbiti Safari Company was established and has since become the custodian of this breathtakingly unique wilderness.

Co-owners Andries and Dylan bring a combined 35 years of experience in the hunting industry, leading you on an unforgettable classic African hunting safari, where you can pursue everything from elephant to the smallest of antelope in a theater of boulders and forest. Simbiti Safaris also conducts hunting safaris in several other Zimbabwean concessions.
